UPE/ACM Scholarship Award
UPE, in partnership with ACM, offers this scholarship to highlight academic excellence and professional engagement among ACM student members entering the computing profession.
Application Deadline: September 16, 2025
Award Amounts: Four (4) awards of $1,500 each
Recognition: Winners also receive a certificate of commendation from UPE
Who Is Eligible
- Graduate and undergraduate students (post–12th grade, college-level and above)
- ACM members and members of an ACM Student Chapter at their academic institution
- Full-time students at the time of application
Criteria
Applications are evaluated primarily on: - Academic record (official transcripts must be attached)
- Faculty recommendation (tone/content)
- ACM Chapter and/or department-related activities

Prepare and submit: - Completed scholarship application (per ACM/UPE instructions)
- Official transcripts (PDF)
- Faculty recommendation letter (PDF)
- Brief statement outlining your ACM chapter involvement and professional goals (PDF)
